While attending Mulanje Secondary School, Skays took a bold step—he recorded his debut single, "Umakwanisiratu," at Weaponz Records. The song was a revelation. Fans and critics alike were stunned—not just by the fact that a young artist from Mulanje could deliver such a polished R&B track, but by the raw emotion and maturity in his voice.
